About Georgina
Licensed Therapist Serving the San Fernando Valley
The San Fernando Valley has been helped me develop my therapeutic skills. Starting off in Valencia at College of the Canyons, I knew I wanted to complete my Bachelor’s degree. As a first generation Latina, I struggled with leaving my parents and younger siblings. I opted for a commuter school- California State University, Northridge (CSUN). As did my siblings who have graduated and moved on with their careers as a mechanical engineer, graphic designer, and an early childhood educator. I continued with my education and received my Master’s from CSUN. My license requires over 2,000 hours of volunteer experience. Those hours were here in the San Fernando Valley (Pacoima, Panorama City, Northridge, Canoga Park, Sylmar, and North Hollywood). My work has taken me all over the valley and I have seen the stark differences that crossing over one street can make in opportunity and access to quality care. I also have seen the resilience and opportunities in these communities. My commitment to the San Fernando Valley continues as I have established my private practice in Northridge and Sherman oaks. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the state of California #106706.
